There is a small housing community JUST off of exit 15 that frankly, I didn’t even know existed. The building of “Excelsior Park ” started years ago, and now includes condominiums, apartments, and townhomes by Witt Construction. Witt Construction recently built a walking bridge through the Spring Run Preserve, now making it possible for residents to easily enjoy a quiet and safe walk into downtown Saratoga Springs, NY.
A DESIRE FOR DOWNTOWN LIVING
As everyone knows who lives in Saratoga Springs, downtown lots are HARD to come by. Each year brings an even greater demand for downtown living. I’ve talked to many of my own friends who want to live more simply, and really value the ability to quickly and safely walk into town. This newly built boardwalk gives residents the opportunity to conveniently get to downtown via the paved Spring Run Trail. Excelsior Park Townhomes by Witt Construction are an easy walk to downtown Saratoga.
Although Excelsior Park is just a minute from the Exit 15 Northway ramp, it is incredibly quiet. This is because the community lies adjacent to the Spring Run Preserve, which is protected land forever. In addition to this perk, Excelsior Park also offers home ownership with no maintenance and upkeep. The townhomes included in the first phase of this project are all sold or under contract, with a second phase coming in the near future. This multi-generational site also has plans of an on-site boutique spa.
Each buyer works with a member of Witt’s design team to customize their units. Michelle Mebert, listing agent at Roohan Realty, stressed that each unit truly reflects the buyer’s style.
If you’re interested in building and want a bit more land, Michelle shared that Witt and Roohan are now offering four lots with amazing views in Middle Grove. Middle Grove is just outside of Saratoga Springs, NY, and a quick drive to downtown Saratoga. For more information on the next phase of the Excelsior Park townhouse project, or the Middle Grove lots, visit Roohan Realty or Witt Contruction’s websites.
